It measures something different from our reasoning tests, and we keep the two apart. This profile won't give you an IQ-style score, and nothing in it stands in for one. All three tests are free, so if it's reasoning you want to measure, take one of those instead or as well.

No. Type systems sort you into a box and often give a different answer when you retake them. The Big Five shows where you sit on a sliding scale for each trait, stays steady over time, and is what personality researchers actually use. You won't get a four-letter code. You'll get thirty traits, each on its own scale.

To compare you with people like you. Traits shift with age and differ on average between men and women, so comparing you with everyone at once would quietly mislead. Neither answer is required, and you can give one without the other. Give one and we match you on that one. Give neither and we compare you with everyone who took the same questionnaire online. Your report names the comparison it used beside every result, whichever you choose.

It's not a verdict, and it's not a diagnosis. It describes how strongly and how often you feel difficult emotions, which often comes with alertness, care and a low tolerance for things going wrong. Every trait has a cost and a use at both ends. If you're struggling, talk to a professional, not a website.

Easily. You're describing yourself, and nothing stops you describing someone you'd rather be. The only person that costs is you. Answer as you actually are, not as you're aiming to be, and don't overthink any one statement.

A little, and that's expected. Your mood and recent events can nudge the detail traits up or down a bit. The overall shape stays put. Real personality change takes years, so a retake in six months tells you more than one next week.
