Who runs iqtested

What the service is

iqtested provides three online tests. The matrix test gives you up to 24 pattern puzzles from a published puzzle set, adjusting to how you are doing, and returns a puzzle level from 1 to 10 with a comparison against a named group. The six-skill reasoning test gives you 60 questions across six skills and returns how you did in each, strongest to weakest. The personality questionnaire gives you 120 statements and returns scores for five main traits and thirty detail traits, each compared with a named group of people.

Taking any test and seeing your full result is free. A free account, opened with a sign-in link sent to your email, keeps your results and opens the members area.

A free beta

iqtested is in beta. It is provided as-is while we build it, and features may change, move or be removed along the way.

Free while we're in beta. If that ever changes, we'll tell you first, and nothing will be charged without you choosing it. If we ever offer something paid, we will tell you before it starts, and you will only ever be charged for something you have explicitly chosen.

What the service is not

Your results are for entertainment and self-reflection. This is not a supervised clinical or professional assessment and is not a substitute for one. It does not diagnose any condition. You must not use a result — yours or anyone else's — as the basis for hiring, admissions, or any other decision about another person.

We issue no certificate, credential, qualification or attestation of any kind, and we do not verify anyone's identity. Sittings are unproctored and self-administered, so nothing here can stand as evidence to a third party about who took a test or what they scored. Your report is an estimate we give you about yourself. A sitting reference shown in your account identifies one sitting for our support team; it proves nothing and resolves to nothing outside your account.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since that is how you sign in. Do not share your results link if you do not want the report to be seen.

You can delete your account at any time from the account tab. Deleting it erases your results and history straight away. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Minimum age

You must be 18 or over to take any of the tests or to hold an account. The personality questionnaire's comparison data includes younger age groups, which its How we score page describes; we do not offer them here.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to extract the item bank or answer keys.
Do not automate test submissions or interfere with other people's sittings.
Do not resell or republish reports as though they were clinical assessments.
Do not try to break, overload or get around the service's security.

Liability

The service is provided as-is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of a result, or for any loss that comes from using the service or from it being unavailable. Nothing here limits any right you have that the law does not allow us to limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Portugal. If you live in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the consumer law of the country you live in.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and material changes take effect from the day they are published here.
